Personal project – Creep

This is personal poster project that I have been working on lately. The idea was to show creeps and bugs in a more esthetic,surreal and creepy surroundings. The posters are made in 70×50cm, making sure that those bugs are a lot bigger than in real life.

This is some of the work i’ve did in the past couple of months. Different posters and design for various events. This is a small collection of what i’ve been up to besides my new job at Bleed designstudio!

Artwork for Vinyl covers – Houseselective

This is a new cover I did for Houseselective for their latest release. I wanted to try something different from what I normally do, so this is done with a little feminine twist, creating a nice contrast to the electronica sound. And there is nothing better when everybody is happy with the result! The song can be bought from Itunes in a little while.

Private project – Light&Space

These are some private illustrations that I have been working on during the last week. Just experimenting with light and different images. It made a nice little series with these fantastic selfmade titles:Smoking in space, puking in space and fighting crime in space. Supa!

The Cool Kids – Concert poster

The Cool kids is the next big thing in hip hop. Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks met on myspace, but are both from Illinois. They have received a lot of attention during 2007 for their refreshing sound blending old school and new school. They are booked for the Hove festival but before that, they are going to blow away Blå on a monday night. I was asked to design the poster and flyer for the concert, which is hosted by Juicy and Blå.

Cd packaging: Chris Lee – Worry no

Norwegian Hip hop artist Chris Lee released his debut album on the 21st of january, after several top radio singles. Christian Bielke and myself were asked to the cover for the cd. We spent numerous days creating and building different elements such as the boomblaster, the rubik`s cube and the clouds just to mention a few, to create a “childhood fantasy” setting around the artist. All the cover pictures were taken by Sebastian Ludvigsen from Tinagnet. Also check out “the making of” on the post below.

Flyer invitation & poster – Diplo

I did the poster for one of my favourite djs at the moment, Diplo. The boys behind the Juicy concept is flying in some great djs at the moment and this is one of the best. Diplo will be playing at Blå, and before the place will go ape, the new Daft punk live dvd will be displayed, while give away cds will be thrown at people. What a night!

Poster collague – Personal project

I made three different posters that I framed of some old pictures of my girlfriend from when she was growing up. It made a pretty nice series together when all the pictures were connected. Just photos and hand drawned illustrations.

Visual Profile – Living Room Sunday Service

After a year at Cosmo, the club concept Sunday Service moved to its old spot, Living Room. I did a new visual profile for the concept, including posters, invitations, member cards, banners etc. The point was to create a visual identity that could easíly be implemented in various print materials, and also have a very visible expression. The concept fills Living Room every sunday night with some of the best djs in Oslo, and has had hue success since it opened its doors.
